A Magna Cum Laude graduate and National Merit and Dean’s Select Scholarship recipient, Dr. Doner received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. As a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and a winner of the Geneva Wise Endowed Academic Scholarship, Dr. Doner received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Continuing his education and postgraduate training, Dr. Doner completed his Internship, Residency, and Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Following his post graduate training, he has held positions in internal medicine as a Hospitalist for the inpatient Physician Associates in Dallas, Texas and a Medical Oncologist at Austin Diagnostic Clinic in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Doner is affiliated and a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, and North Austin Medical Center Cancer Committee. In addition, he is certified as a Diplomate in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and is in private practice with the Southwest Regional Cancer Center.”
